During the 13 year working in the education establishment Alexey Lazarevich created an excellently working collective. Under his leadership the school was given the status of a High School in 1994.

Barenbaum Alexey Lazarevich is doing important scientific-research work in modern methods of approach to the school control system. He cooperates with the RAE Institute of education systems administration. He efficiently guides the innovation process in the High School.

Among his professional scientific interests there are planning and control questions of education institution activity, organization of education offices management structure, work in the fields of programme development and normative organization documentation.

The principal shares his works on the above mentioned subjects with his collogues both in his district and the whole city organizing scientifically practical conferences and seminars on the base of his High School. His slogan in this activity is �Respect - trust - success�. It brings out appreciable positive results and impels the pedagogical collective to achieve high results in educational work: it prevents conflicts in the collective, helps to solve any problems, to improve skill of the members of his collective. This slogan also helps to use innovation technologies of teaching, developing and upbringing children in the High School.

Alexey Lazarevich is the initiator of High School anthologies: �The priority directions of 1517 High School development�, �The projective and scientific - research activity of the pupils�. The anthologies are of great interest to principals of educational organization, to teachers and parents.

A great attention in the High School is paid to individually oriented method to the pupils� education. Under the leadership of Barenbaum his High School works in the city experimental organization in the topic of �Individual academic plans of pupils� where individually oriented, developing and psychological peculiarities of the pupils are tested.

Masterly possessing theoretical bases of management educational establishment using economic and legatine functional and development educational system foundation, Barenbaum uses modern methods of education, financially and economic control activity at his High School. These methods are built on a diagnostically base supported by informational analytical provision which enables to exclude mistakes in the activity analyses, expose most important problems and find effective ways of their decisions, work out further High School programmers strictly in accordance with the activity results.

The High School closely cooperates with the Institute of Educational Management Systems of RAE, with some city institutes: Moscow State University, Moscow Aviation Institute, Medical Academy, Russian University of Peoples' Friendship, Culture Institute, High School of Economics and some culture organizations: the Pushkin Museum of Fine arts, the Foreign Language Library and so on. Forms of such cooperation are art studios, scientific seminars and round tables.

It does the principal credit that active forms of pedagogical councils, pedagogical readings in the form of business games, brain rings and round tables have become a tradition in the High School. Participating in �The school of the year� competition the High School with the principal at the head has become a prize winner, and the title of the principal of the year was given to Barenbaum.

Alexey Lazarevich is at the head of the school council. His management decisions based on a deep analytical activity are always competent and effective.

It must be noted that the High School material technical bases is constantly becoming better. There are all the conditions of using innovational education technologies. The teachers� stuff has mastered the computer technologies method and uses it in everyday practice. The High School is the resources center of NWAD.

Alexey Lazarevich is a great specialist of the educational development strategy in Russia and also principles of educational policy. Being a member of NWED board and a member of District council he is taking an active part in forming education development programme in the district, in working out conception directions of educational strategies in the district and the city. He is a member of the round table of the city directors� council.

Alexey Lazarevich is a modest, solitious and responsible man. He enjoys respect and authority among the teachers and all the stuff of the High School as well as pupils and their parents. Teachers, parents and children look up to him for advice, help and sometimes they simply share their joys with him.
